Misty
Misty is a young female Banded Husky who was abandoned by the roadside in Winchmore Hill. She lived wild with the local rats for about two to three weeks before finally I caught her and brought her to live with us on Monday 14th January 2002. When found, she was snuggled up with her guardian, a scrawny wild female rat who obviously had "adopted" the younger, more inexperienced rat.
Although initially quite thin, Misty seems to be otherwise healthy in spite of her experience. She's a little on the nervy side, but does enjoy sitting in the crook of my elbow being stroked. A lot of love, care and attention has fattened her up and made her more docile although she is prone to defensive behaviour around her food bowl and can be very territorial.
Unfortunately, she's currently under a pregnancy watch following a little "accident" with Hex...!

Amice was bred by Pauline van Berkel of Rattery Horlepiep in the Netherlands, from two rats imported from Australia - so she is a true Australian Down-Under! She is the 3rd generation decendant of Enigma, the first ever Down-Under bred by the bRatpack rattery in Australia.
Amice was imported to this country by Estelle Sandford, and is the only full-blooded Australian Down-Under in this country. She has produced a number of litters, but is now retired from breeding - which is how she came to join us on Saturday 2nd February 2002. Having earned a rest after a busy time raising litters, she has now come to the peace and quiet of a pet home! She has settled down very well with Misty, and is being thoroughly spoilt rotten as the elegant lady she is!

Velveteen is my fifth rat from Estelle, and my first dumbo. She is also my first rex! She is unbelievably friendly and laid-back; she loves nothing better than flopping on my lap for a stroke. She's a very pretty shade of blue, and just looks so adorable with her lovely dumbo ears!
Velveteen is going to be the start of my rejuvenation of Pagan rattery, with ample assistance from Mercury and Hex. Her first mating - to Hex -will take place at the beginning of April, and I am hoping for some Russian Blue Rex Dumbos in that litter. She will also be mated to Mercury in September, in an effort to try for Platinum Dumbos and Platinum Rex Dumbos.
