Throughout this year Gemma has been honoured to tour the UK and attend the government 'Make The Difference' anti bullying conferences and talk alongside Minister for Education and Skills Mr Ivan Lewis and Childlines Esther Rantzen.

Though the conference have now finished many more exciting plans are being made to help combat bullying - Full Stop 2 Bullying will keep posted!
Gemma is proud to attend the launch of the Anti Bullying Alliance in London on July 15th 2004 and was once again privilaged to speack with Esther Rantzen and the Minister for Education & Skills Mr Ivan Lewis.

May I wish the recently formed Anti Bullying Alliance (ABA) continued success in their excellent work to combat bullying!

Monday 21st July 2003.

On Monday 21st July 2003, Gemma the campaigns founder attended Childline HQ in London, where she met with Ivan Lewis, The Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Young People and Adult Skills and Esther Rantzen.
At this meeting the issues of bullying were discussed & possible solutions were discussed at length.
As a result Gemma will attend a Childline conference later this year & and was also honoured to accept the position of Ambassador, for Childline Cymru.
Gemma has also told her story to Woman's Own and Bliss

Gemma talks with the young Welsh Assembly 'Funky Dragons.'

"I felt this was an excellent day where I saw many ideas for short term and long term changes.  Children are actively wanting to put a stop to bullying and I can't see any better way than listening to them - the children who know what's happening!"

Childline camera crews film a short video on 'Full Stop 2 Bullying' with its background history to why and how it was set up.
11th November 2003.

Training at NSPCC for Gemma to qualify to train others!
6th - 7th September 2003.

NSPCC Weekend in Warrington, Manchester.

At this weekend many like minded people joined together and  discussed how they felt the NSPCC could write their anti bullying policy.  This policy is currently being written with the thoughts of youth at its centre!

A successful and most enjoyable weekend where we all made new friends....xxxx
Tuesday 4th November 2003.

Gemma and her parents attended a conference on bullying where they spoke as guest speakers.

"The feedback we had on the day was fantastic, the messages to the site great but more than anything seeing such a forward thinking community who want to make changes has been the most refreshing and exciting things for me in a long time - thank you Crewe especially the children for making us all feel so welcome and alive in the fight against bullying once again!"

Childline, Millenium Stadium, Cardiff.

Gemma attended a celebration of people's achievements.  She recieved an unexpected gift for her work with Childline.

"'Thank you for a fantastic day - the children and people were such an inspiration to us all!"  Gemma.
Edexcel Awards.

Recently the founder of 'Full Stop 2 Bullying' reached the finalist stage in the National Edexcel Achievements Awards for the campaign and its website!


The designer of the website recently won the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Award for her work with bullying.  She was presented her certificate by MP Wayne David.

The founder of 'Full Stop 2 Bullying' gained runner up status in July 2003 in the Deutsche Bank Spotlight awards.  She was also asked to attend the 2004 awards where was felt honoured to be asked to give a speech.

I recently attended the 2004 Deutsche Bank Spotlight awards and I would like to congratulate all the finalists, winners and many others, all of whom are doing amazing work!

Gemma attend anti bullying delegates day where shes gives a speech alongside Chief Superintendant Gwyn Thomas.

An excellent day involving DYFED POWYS POLICE, COLEG POWYS, POWYS COMMUNITY SAFETY, CHILDLINE, POWYS CHALLENGE & POWYS YOUTH OFFENDING TEAM.

An excellent day was had by all.

Many thanks to The Diana Princess of Wales Memorial award, Edexcel and the Spotlight awards though I did not start this campagin for awards their recognition for my work has enabled the campaign to be shown to many people and has also encouraged me to expand the campaign.
I would also like to thank Richard Horseman, who's training in media helped me more than I thought possible - an experience and learning curve I feel will stay with me, thank you all once again.
